The Swiss ReLuxury Fair partners with BARNES, a leading player in real estate and luxury goods, to organize the first Pre-Loved Luxury Show in Paris
This unique event will take place from November 15 to 17 at the Carrousel du Louvre, highlighting a more responsible approach to luxury by promoting circularity and the second life of luxury products. BARNES Bordeaux will be present and delighted to welcome you at its stand.

Reinventing luxury through sustainable practices
This new fair redefines the concept of luxury by embracing sustainable practices: Reselling, Repairing, Renovating, Rehabilitating, Reusing, Recycling, and Reinventing. The aim is to demonstrate that luxury can be timeless, sustainable, and capable of reinvention, standing in opposition to disposable consumption. As Jean-Louis Dumas of Hermès once said: "Luxury is what can be repaired."

A variety of exhibitors and exceptional pieces

The Pre-Loved Luxury Show will bring together around 60 exhibitors, including prestigious houses, renowned brands, and digital platforms, offering rare and certified pieces in fields such as watchmaking, jewelry, fashion, and vintage leather goods. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover collectible watches, antique jewelry, and iconic objects representing sustainable luxury in France and internationally.

Within the BARNES universe, participants can explore prestigious real estate in over 100 destinations worldwide, as well as exclusive services related to the art of living. Additionally, visitors can have their own items appraised and, if desired, sell them directly to the experts present, thus completing the circularity loop.

Conferences, workshops, and innovations on the circular economy

Over three days, the fair will feature a rich program of more than 20 conferences, panels, and workshops open to the public. Led by experts in luxury, the circular economy, real estate, and lifestyle, these sessions will offer participants valuable insights and new perspectives on sustainable practices in the luxury sector.

With more than 50 renowned speakers, the event will serve as a source of inspiration and reflection on the future of luxury, particularly by showcasing innovative sustainability and circular economy initiatives. Startups, artisans, and emerging brands specializing in repair, recycling, upcycling, and transformation of goods will also be present to showcase their expertise and share their knowledge.

Sustainable luxury: A new way to consume

The Pre-Loved Luxury Show reflects a profound shift in consumer expectations, with people seeking to consume more responsibly while preserving the quality, creativity, and craftsmanship that define luxury.

Fabienne Lupo, founder of ReLuxury, emphasizes: “Today, circularity is no longer optional. We must change our consumption habits. Luxury has a duty to set an example in this area, as it possesses the intrinsic values needed to reinvent product life cycles: quality, reparability, durability, and transmission.”

Thibault de Saint Vincent, President of BARNES, adds: “By launching the Pre-Loved Luxury Show, we reaffirm our commitment to enhancing the art of living by passing on the excellence of real estate heritage and expertise in luxury services, creating unparalleled experiences for future generations.”

This fair offers a unique opportunity to discover reimagined luxury, where each object and asset carries a story and craftsmanship worth preserving, celebrating a more sustainable and environmentally respectful mode of consumption.
