Nestled on rue Notre-Dame, in the heart of the Chartrons district, AMA boutique is the showcase of Anna, a lover of materials and colors. Here, design engages in a dialogue with craftsmanship: pieces produced in small series, reinvented everyday objects, bold shades, and textures that catch the light. You enter for an idea, and you leave with a story: a hand-crafted vase, a lamp with clean lines, or a chair that naturally finds its place.

More than just a decor destination, AMA is a visionary workshop: Anna advises, adjusts, and composes to create living, personal interiors. Her guiding principle? Reasonable custom-made designs, beautiful finishes, and a selection that prioritizes craftsmanship and sincerity. An inspiring stopover, true to the spirit of the Chartrons.

In a few words, who are you and what is the story behind AMA?

I am Anna, a trained interior designer and the founder of AMA. AMA is the story of a living space I wanted to create to combine my favorite decor finds, talented artisans, and inspirations through staged settings. In addition to the boutique, you will also find a materials library corner (fabrics, wallpapers, tiles) to assist you with your interior renovations. I chose this name because it’s what my grandmother used to call me; she passed on her taste for beauty and bold combinations to me from a very young age.

The world of AMA in three words?

INSPIRING, WARM, AND ECLECTIC

Your favorite piece at the moment?

The lacquered wood table... handmade in Portugal; it is a masterpiece that dresses up any interior on its own. I have a real crush on the orange version, though it comes in other colors and goes with everything! It can be mixed with 1970s vintage furniture with curved lines, aluminum, contemporary pieces, or more natural materials like rattan or raffia.

A brand or designer you are a fan of?

Vermissen! An incredible brand from the Netherlands founded in the 1970s. It draws inspiration from influences and expertise worldwide. Currently at AMA, you can find rattan mirrors, the pink bouclé bench that I love, or that hand-shaped armchair that takes us back several decades.

How do you source your products?

This boutique project took shape last year during a trip to Morocco and Portugal. There, I truly began sourcing and discovered amazing craftsmanship. This shop is primarily about meeting extraordinary artisans that I want to highlight. Since opening, new collaborations are already in the works for 2026.

At AMA, the idea is to offer unique pieces or those produced in small quantities. Most items are handcrafted, so they are often unique pieces made to order.

The foolproof gift found at your shop?

The salt and pepper shakers from Adisson Ross! A sure bet made of lacquered wood with a high-quality ceramic mechanism. You can personalize your duos by mixing colors and sizes.

Your quick style tip to upgrade an interior?

A section of wallpaper! Even a single wall in a room is enough to completely change the atmosphere. We offer a wide range: panoramic, natural materials, or embossed rosettes.

The must-have decor piece?

A rug! It immediately furnishes a room and warms up the atmosphere, especially with winter approaching.

The Chartrons in one word? A favorite neighboring spot?

ARTISTIC! In the Chartrons, there are many workshops, creators, and artisans. You will find "made in Chartrons" pieces at AMA: Klaya ceramics, Kelly Keko calendars, or lespépéesbijoux second-hand jewelry.

A great nearby address: @lebistro111, for lunch or dinner, it’s always a delight!

Following many requests, I am currently developing a website. You will soon be able to place your orders online! Launch planned for post-holiday season.
